Forest Art Wisconsin – http://www.waldkunst.com/2007/
I was hired on to the project by the curator Ute Ritschel. My primary goal was to document the work of 28 artist. I overcame the unique challenges of documenting artwork installed in a forest. I walked around the Raven Trail for 8-10 hours each day, with my camera bag and tripod. I quickly became accustomed working in hot dusty, buggy conditions. Hemlock pollen, although not permanently damaging, made changing lenses in the woods interesting. I walked, slapped mosquitoes, made new friends and wore out a pair of shoes. The resulting images were reproduced in a catalog commemorating the conference. I was later called upon to print a set of images for a traveling exhibition.
